The Forest Club Committees
Architectural Review Committee (“ARC”)
It is imperative and fundamental for The Forest Club to maintain the overall appearance of properties in The Forest neighborhood within the guidelines of compatibility and community safety. Without such controls and review, our neighborhood is subject to careless or conflicting construction styles and colors that may result in an inferior or run-down appearance, decreasing property values or public safety. All exterior improvements or changes to private properties of any kind or description to be erected, constructed, etc. within the community must have prior approval of this committee. It is the role of the ARC to manage this necessary task. This committee is comprised of at least 3 Board appointed Forest resident owners. They meet in the Sunrise Room on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month at 7 pm. More detailed information about any improvements or changes to an owner’s property are detailed in the Architectural Control Manual, revised March 2016. This document lists the projects requiring their approval as well as projects that do not require their approval. If you have a project for their approval you may get the forms from The Forest office or on The Forest website.
Document Review Committee
The Board of Directors may appoint at least 3 resident owners charged with maintaining the governing documents of The Forest Club, Inc. This committee shall assure compliance with statutes and codes which affect our documents and shall make any recommendations to the Board of Directors.
Welcome Committee
Upon receiving a referral from the Forest Club office, a member of The Welcome Committee, with a basket filledwith Forest Club information, a Forest Club cup, and a plant, will visit the new resident to welcome them. In the past the committee has hosted many activities such as a fall campfire get together and potluck dinner to welcome them to The Forest Club.
Keenagers
The Keenagers are a group of amazing resident volunteers. They plan and present monthly social activities and events such as a
Valentine Dance, Mega Bingo, Oktoberfest and New Years extravagance, many with live entertainment for the enjoyment of the Forest Community.
